Answer: Introduction In the current study, in order to understand the strategic plan, Multicare Health System organization has been selected. Further, the new mission and vision will be stated after reviewing the plan and goal of the company. Review of Strategic Plan and goal of Multicare Health System The key reason behind the set up of Multicare Health System is to assure that clinic and hospital operations and activities in and around Washington would be having equal mission and vision and set one goal (Chausa.org, 2015). The purpose of the healthcare unit is to improve the health condition of the people and serve the people via superiority in patient care, research and education. On the other hand, the goal of the company is to transform the lives of the people and eliminate health disparities through their health care system (Wsha.org, 2015). The strategic plans of the company from 2012-2016: To standardize the care processes and strengthen the health system in order to prevent medical errors To use electronic medical record system for providing effective care To work together with healthcare partners so that new payment system can be developed. To continue with the use of Continuous Performance Improvement in order to be more efficient in providing cost-effective service To develop groundbreaking research for introducing new cures To continue with medical education program to train employees and knowledge to people Mission of the company The mission of Multicare Health System is to deliver high quality health care service, and affordable service including mental health, dental, medical and long term care (MultiCare Health System, 2015). The goal of the health center is to develop patient-centered system in order to improve the health of the people and provide sustainable health quality. On the other hand, the vision of Multicare Health System is to improve and preserve the mental and physical health of Washington (Emma.msrb.org, 2015). SWOT Analysis The SWOT analysis helped in knowing the possible strength of the health center like providing affordable medical services, no discrimination between rich or poor patient, etc. The weakness of the company is that company does not have advanced medical system. The opportunity that is available to company is that they can buy the medical system (Depts.washington.edu, 2015). On the other hand, the major threat for the company is the deficiency of qualified nurses and healthcare reform. New Mission and Vision Mission The new mission of Multicare Health System can be: To the people The customer experience has to be improved so that all individuals can access superior quality health care at all life stages. Each person has to be treated by integrating and coordinating medical health services. Employing prevention and intervention will improve and enhance health and well-being. Develop efficient, effective and sustainable health concern delivery systems. To the Public Focus and provide health care safety net whenever required by the people. Maintain open and effective communication with public and also engaging with the stakeholders and partners. Become responsible and prudent towards fiscal stewards in context to public resources. Improve the performance and take responsibility to provide quick and better service To the Employees Develop and maintain positive, healthy and viable work environment Concentrating on teamwork, communication, collaboration and productive decision making Recognizing and showing admiration for excellence, dedication, innovation and commitment. Provide professional training and development opportunities to excel in provide better service to people Therefore, in order to reach out or fulfill the new mission, the company has to follow strategic actions so that expected goal can be achieved. Actions Health plan Enrollment experience has to be improved and continuous quality improvement has to be established for addressing issues. The member of the company has to be educated so that better decision can be gained regarding health care. Individual Development Plan can be used for supporting the employees to grow professionally. The trust has to be built by empowering people with more responsibility. Performance management has to be improved by providing fair, accurate and timely performance response. New Vision Expanding and increasing regional healthcare delivery system Deliver the much safest and most effective health care possible. Controlling the cost of care so that each individual can receive medical benefit Provide access to medical service to each person that needs medical treatment Installing and updating advanced medical technology Making sure that hospital is laced with all recent medical equipment Maintaining performance and excellence culture throughout the healthcare network Conclusion The new mission and vision will help the Muticare Health System to provide better service and improving their internal performance.
